Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
-
What can I expect during my first session?
During your first session we will review your new client paperwork, discuss your goals and objectives for therapy, and map out a treatment plan.
-
Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes! If you would prefer to meet virtually, we can absolutely schedule virtual sessions. Additionally, if you would like to meet in-person and virtually depending on your schedule, that is an option as well.
-
Do I need to have OCD to meet with you?
Nope! Although I LOVE to work with clients with OCD and anxiety, I also LOVE to work with clients who may be struggling with symptoms of depression, life changes, academic stressors, etc.
-
What if you have a waitlist? Can you provide referrals for other therapists?
Absolutely! If I have a waitlist and you would like referrals, I will try my best to provide you with therapists that would be the ideal fit for you and/or your child.
-
How can I know if you will be the right therapist for me?
We will schedule a 10/15 minute call prior to our first session and I will encourage you to ask me questions to make sure you feel as though I'm a good fit for you. That being said, you might have to schedule 1-2 sessions with me before determining if you want to continue working together. I will do my best to make sure to answer your questions, identify treatment goals, and create a plan of action for sessions. If you decide you want to work with another therapist, I will make sure to provide referrals as well.

What is your cancellation policy?
I have a 24-hour policy for cancellations. Cancellations and/or missed sessions within 24-hours of your scheduled session are subject to the full out-of-pocket session fee (50 minute session fee - $185). I reserve the right to waive the cancellation/missed session fee under certain unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances such as severe weather, medical or psychiatric emergencies, death in the family, or natural disaster, etc.
